Annual Conference for the Women’s Political Caucus of New Jersey

April 30, 2005- UFMEP President, Mrs. Salwa Kader, was the feature speaker this year at the Annual Conference for the Women's Political Caucus of New Jersey (WPC-NJ). The WPC-NJ is a multi-partisan organization dedicated to increasing the number of progressive women in elected and appointed positions in government, protecting reproductive freedom and promoting equal rights for women. The WPC-NJ is an affiliate of the National Women’s Political Caucus. Candace Straight commenced the event and swore in Barbara Sussman Goldberg as the new State President. The conference also honored former New Jersey Secretary of State Regina Thomas and well-known Republican attorney, Christine Bator.
