There is so much happening across the planet during the entire weekend of Sept. 21st to Sept. 23rd for this year\'s global observance of the International Day of Peace. It is impossible to cover it all - and that\'s good! This exemplifies the extent of this observance, and how many sectors of society have embraced this occasion; and it indicates that the observance of International Day of Peace is becoming more and more mainstream.
In July 4th, 2012, UFMEP traveled to Egypt to host a highly successful and inspiring sports tournament for Egyptian youth. The event allowed young people from different social backgrounds to interact in a friendly environment.
April 25, 2012- U.S. Federation for Middle East Peace (UFMEP) hosted, for the second time, a Model United Nations event for students from the world-renowned Montessori schools in the UN Headquarters in New York City.
March 1, 2012 - USFMEP hosted its annual inter-faith dialogue between Jewish, Muslim and Christian women. USFMEP believes that it is fundamental to bring together women of different faiths to facilitate understanding and tolerance among the varied faiths of the world, as women play a key role in the fight toward harmony and peaceful existence.
