Tunis - Mrs. Kader attended the Business Women’s Summit held in Tunis. More than 200 businesswomen from Middle East and North Africa gathered in entrepreneurship training programs and pursue networking opportunity with potential business partners from the Arab world and the United States; this summit is in response to President George W. Bush call, who has committed the United States to working together with the people and government of the Middle East and North Africa to achieve freedom, democracy and full educational and economic opportunity. The summit organized by the middle east partnership initiative.

March 30, 2004, CAIRO - A delegation from the United States Federation for Middle East Peace took a one week working visit to Cairo where they met with First Vice President of the United States Federation for Middle East Peace, Mr. Ahmed El-Fadaly of Egypt as well as many other prominent Egyptian activists and educators. While in Cairo they visited the National Council for Women and met with its Ambassador and Advisor to the Secretary General, Mrs. Samiha Abou Steit.

The delegation also visited the Misr University for Science and Technology where they were taken on a tour of its facilities.  Federation Director Mrs. Kader noted how impressed she was with the University hospital and its well trained and educated staff.  She also made note of the impressive collection at the university library stating, “It’s fascinating to see such an extensive collection of books from foreign countries translated from the original language into Arabic.” Wrapping up the tour, delegation member Mrs. Kader received an Award from Chancellor Dr. Souad A. Kafafi Egyptian academician in April of 2004,  for her work in the role of women in the Middle East peace process.

Federation President Sally Kader addresses a gathering

The U.S. Federation for Middle East Peace  Conference for the year, 2006 under the auspicious of his Excellency Mr. Amir Mousa Secretary-General for the Arab league and International Muslim Youth Organization. Among the attendants are Nine Ministers, Nine Province Governors, and President of National Council for Youth, President of National Council for Sport, Egyptian officials and diplomatic community in Cairo, all spoke about Peace Education; and cheered Yes for Peace No to War. This is the third event for USFMEP organized in the Peace city Cairo.
