Ms.
Fatima Al-Kooheji appointed by the USFMEP President Mrs. Salwa Kader;
Bahrain Office Director to coordinate the Organization work between the USFMEP
office at United Nations in New York and Kingdom of Bahrain Chapter. Ms. Al
Kooheji, (M. ED, BA) President and founder of Hawar International School. She is
an active member of the Bahrain Business Women Society, and representative
for Private Schools of Bahrain at the Arabic Private Education Union of the
Middle East, based in Egypt.
Mrs.
Christina Richards
appointed by the USFMEP President Mrs. Salwa Kader; UAE Office Director to
coordinate the Organization work between the
USFMEP
office at United Nations in New York and UAE Chapter. She is a consultant
to government and private sector agencies and coaches individuals in the UAE in
problem solving workplace and personal challenges. She is the former Chief
Executive Officer of The Australian Reproductive Health Alliance (ARHA) and
Secretariat Chair of the Australian All Party Parliamentary Group on Population
and Development (PGPD). USFMEP Board and members welcome her appointment.
Mrs.
Yaga C. Gonzalez, born in Paris to a Senegalese father and a Syrian-born
Turkish mother. she lived the Middle East with my Diplomat father, she was
brought to
witness the hopes
and deceptions for a region that has grown and developed in the shadow of
conflicts and to experience it's culture, traditions, religions, and society
during the eight years she lived there. This experience has helped her
develop a better understanding of the views that are being held by various
parties. Decades of distrust are at the origin; through education and dialog,
fears can gradually fade, giving a place the
acknowledgment and respect of difference.
USFMEP Board and members welcome her appointment as the director of Geneva
office.
